Im hurt about this, please help?

Recently I've been talking to this guy I met while on a vacation to australia. We were both hanging out for about 3 weeks day and night and got to know eachother really well. Then after that in the last year weve been in and out of contact back and forth, but in a good way. Lately hed been pushing the idea of maybe me coming to visit him, or him coming out here to apply for jobs...and maybe being in my province. I really believed him and wed been talking all the time. So anyhow...recently wed been talking a lot again...and all of a sudden he text messagese me and tells me that we cant talk anymore cuz he has a girlfriend and that... he needs to say "good bye krista". just like that...basically making it final. harsh huh?? i am so hurt still, even though its been a week since it happened. I was realllly digging this guy. What can I expect to happen now? I still have not contacted him in any way, nor am I going to. I just dont know what to think because he still hasnt blocked me on messenger or anything.and i dont know why?..or windows live...and I would think he would do that if he was done with me for life. I found out that hes had this girlfriend for basically over a month now. I am so mad and upset....i know we werent in eachothers vicinity but im still so hurt.
