Seeing Jesus was chosen by God , why did God choose himself & who else was up to be chosen ?

A very reasonable question\ about a completely unreasonable doctrine, the trinity. Jesus was chosen by God, yes, because he wasn't God but God's Son. God's creation, making Almighty God the superior. Jesus did what God, his Father, asked of him, not the other way around. And the phrase "offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God THROUGH Jesus Christ." No way can that be explained away as the two being the same.
