My house is making a weird noise!?

I've had my townhouse for a year now and it's never made this noise! It is deafening loud and it's about every 15 minutes...it sounds like an amber alert alarm on tv, but it sounds like it could be coming from my hot water heater or half bathroom?? I have a one year old and two dogs here with me and I don't want anything to catch fire
